Using this archive - Read Me First

The Digital Archive consists of photographs pertaining to the Middleton Railway in Hunslet, Leeds UK.

The artefacts are grouped in collections, mostly by person or by type.

TAGS (identity codes) have been given to all locomotives owned by the Railway, at one time or another, and also to all visiting locomotives.

Additionally, the Railway has been divided into geographical locations and a TAG issued to each location.

A list of tags can be found under the different headings of "Geographical Locations Tags", "Rail Vehicle Tags" and "The Old Run Tags"

To search, either enter an item in the search box on the left of the page, or click on the three dots, and then advanced search.

Enter your tag and any other relevant search criteria.

Alternatively, you can just "browse" Items, Collections or Exhibits by selecting from the menu on the left.

Clicking the black arrow at the very top left of the page will take you back a page.
